Ambulatory Medical Care Center (MVZ)
Since early 2010, the Medical Care Center at Magdeburg University Hospital has included a neurological department. Dr. Ute Bock is the medical specialist leading this outpatient department.
In general, the Department of Neurology at the MVZ has taken charge of the treatment of common neurological disorders and conditions such as headaches, unexplained dizziness, lapses of consciousness, paralysis, sensory disturbances, muscle weakness or pain and movement disorders.
A special focus of the neurological department of the MVZ is Botulinum toxin therapy for patients with dystonia (wryneck, eyelid spasm), hemifacial spasm, and patients with spasticity (arm spasticity after stroke and spastic equinus foot in patients with infantile cerebral palsy).
Patients can schedule an appointment by calling the number +49 (0391) 67-13948.
In order to receive treatment, a referral from a general practitioner or specialist (in any field of medicine) is required.
