Computer based EMG-Analysis

  • Automatic segmentation and parametrization of single MUAP and classification into motor units
  • Quantitative analysis of the interference pattern: calculation of the number of turns/s and the mean amplitude
  • Macro-EMG: Simultaneous registration with needle and surface electrodes

Clinical application of twitch interpolation technique as on objective measure of peripheral and central paresis

Scientific Interests

EMG analysis

  • Response pattern of single motor units to transcraniol magnetic stimulation: stimulus induced changes in motor unit excitability are obtained by cross-correlation of the stimuli and the voluntary discharge times

fMRI- analysis

  • Cortical Plasticity in patients with peripheral nerve disorders,
  • fMR-Imaging of cortical activation during different stages of desease

rTMS
