On October 20, 2024, the University Women's Clinic Magdeburg will offer a free information event on the topic of endometriosis. This is particularly aimed at affected women and those interested in learning more about current treatment options and how to cope with the condition.

After a successful start, the University Medicine Magdeburg invites you once again to the "2nd Magdeburg Update on Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy" on November 13, 2024 – the focus of the event will be on lectures and exchanges for doctors, specialists, and interested parties.

With the ceremonial groundbreaking for a "New Campus Central Hospital" on the grounds of the University Medicine Magdeburg, the starting signal was given today together with Saxony-Anhalt's Prime Minister Dr. Reiner Haseloff, Science Minister Prof. Dr. Armin Willingmann, Finance Minister Michael Richter, Health Minister Petra Grimm-Benne, and Rector Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Strackeljan for the largest construction project in the history of Saxony-Anhalt.

On October 17 and 18, 2024, the University Hospital Magdeburg invites you to the Day of Suicide Prevention. The event is organized by the Clinical Ethics Committee in cooperation with the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, the Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, the Social Service of the University Hospital, and the Robert Enke Foundation.

In his farewell lecture, intensive care physician Prof. Dr. Dr. med. Thomas Hachenberg from Magdeburg University Hospital takes stock and looks ahead to the coming challenges in anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine.
