Kinderklinikkonzerte e.V. back in Magdeburg
Nico Santos and ela. inspire young patients at Magdeburg University Hospital
After a five-year break, the Kinderklinikkonzerte e.V. association is returning to Magdeburg with a special event. In collaboration with the children's clinic at Magdeburg University Hospital and the parents' house of the Magdeburg Förderkreis krebskranker Kinder e.V., an emotional concert took place on 23 September 2024, which brought a little distraction and joy not only to the young patients on the ward, but also to their families and the ward staff.
Special surprise guests of the day were the popular musicians Nico Santos and ela., who performed their hits on four wards, in the parents' house and in the lecture theatre foyer. They created a warm atmosphere and brought a smile to the faces of many children and their relatives.

This initiative is an important part of the work of Kinderklinikkonzerte e.V., which has set itself the task of bringing joy and light through music into the often difficult times of young patients and their families.
"Music has the power to bring people together and create moments of hope, especially in places where it is so urgently needed. We are happy to welcome the wonderful team from Kinderklinikkonzerte e.V. to our campus for the first time and thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their great and important work," said Prof. Dr. Hans-Jochen Heinze, Medical Director of Magdeburg University Hospital.
