Einladung zum Magdeburger Psychose-Seminar 2025
The University Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Magdeburg and the Outpatient Psychiatric Nursing Service of the AWO Specialist Hospital in Jerichow are once again organising the Magdeburg Psychosis Seminar. The seminars are aimed at people with experience of psychosis, relatives, those affected and employees of psychiatric institutions. The aim of the psychosis seminars is to make the experience of ‘psychosis’ understandable from the different perspectives of the participants, to exchange experiences and to learn from each other. - When: On 24 and 31 March 2025, from 17:00 to 18:00 each day
- Where: Magdeburg Adult Education Centre, Leibnizstr. 23, 39104 Magdeburg
The aim of the seminar is to jointly develop a more comprehensive picture of psychoses. The seminars are not therapeutic, but informative in nature with the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss them together.
On 24 March 2025, the Magdeburg Care Authority will present itself on the topics of care law and precautionary measures. Questions such as:
- What happens if, as an adult, you are suddenly no longer able to manage your own legal affairs due to an accident or illness?
- What happens if you are dependent on the help of others?
- Who acts and decides in such a case?
The seminar provides an insight into guardianship law and shows the path from the suggestion of guardianship to the appointment of a guardian. In addition, options for private provision, for example in the form of powers of attorney, are presented in order to make guardianship proceedings largely unnecessary.
An open trialogue exchange of experiences is planned for the event on 31 March 2025.
