In a joint press conference attended by both chairmen of the supervisory board, the board of directors of Magdeburg University Hospital and the management of Magdeburg Municipal Hospital, the two institutions outlined how they intend to work together in the future.

The German Research Foundation (DFG) is funding the interdisciplinary Research Training Group 2408 "Maladaptive Processes at Physiological Interfaces in Chronic Diseases" at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg with 5 million euros for another four and a half years until 2027.

Magdeburg University Medical Center has prepared a digital Medical Sunday on November 20, providing information on risk prevention as well as current diagnostic and therapeutic options for cardiac arrhythmias.
