On October 19, 2022, the "Rotthaus KlinikAwards" were presented for the twelfth time at the Konzerthaus Berlin for particularly innovative projects in the field of hospital marketing. Among the clinics honored was Magdeburg University Hospital with the project "Discover your nursing potential" in the category "Best career paths and personnel development".

At the University Hospital Magdeburg A.ö.R., an increasing number of patients are again being admitted to the Central Emergency Department due to a corona infection.
